Geospatial Framework
1. Definition
The general term for policies, regulations, standards, technologies, facilities, mechanisms and human resources involved in the collection, processing, exchange and service of geographic information data, it consists of the basic geographic information data system, directory and exchange system, public service system, policy, regulation and standard system, and organizational operation system.
2. Composition
The geospatial framework consists of five parts: Basic Geographic Information Data System, directory and exchange system, public service system, policy, regulation and standard system, and organizational operation system. See figure 1.
Basic Geographic Information Data SystemIs the core of the Geospatial Framework, including surveying and mapping benchmarks, basic geographic information data, service-oriented product data, management systems and supporting environments;Directory and Exchange SystemIt is the key to the joint construction and sharing of the Geospatial Framework, including the Directory and metadata, thematic data, exchange management system and supporting environment;Public Service SystemIs a manifestation of the Geospatial Framework Application Service, including map and data provision, online service system and support environment;Policy, regulation, and standard systemAndOrganization Operating SystemIt is the support and support for geospatial framework construction and services.
3. Association
See figure 2. The basic geographic information database and the geographic information public platform complement each other and are also an important component of the Geospatial Framework.
