Best communication methods and podcast

I have always worked overtime over the past few days, and I was dizzy. In the morning, my colleague told me that a violent explosion in Jilin Chemical Plant had produced 3 km of gas, which gave me a fright, because that place is just a few kilometers away from us, it was interesting to think about it later. Although it was in the same city, my colleagues who had such a big accident actually obtained it through the Internet, I got it from my colleagues, and I thought of team development. In fact, communication is the most important thing. Some things need to be obtained from the Internet, while some may ask handsome guys next door, it may be better, so the traditional communication in team development is useful as long as it works.

Now many people are discussing Ajax. It's good. I remember that when I was in a chat room in college, I always wanted something similar. I recently looked at javaeye, the Ajax discussion inside is quite good. I noted it down first.

Now I have another podcast apart from my blog. I searched for it on Google and found a great podcast for this introduction. You can check it out.

The following excerpt from the podbook: http://hopesome.com/index.php? Cat = 7

1. First read the definition of podcast. What is Podcasting? There is no formal definition yet. There is a lot of understanding about podcast, and the opinions of blogs and media reports are not completely consistent, including the definition on Wikipedia. Dave shusher first attempted to define podcasting in his definition of podcasting in September 29 last year. He proposed that podcasting must meet three requirements:

It must be an independent and downloadable media file;
(1) The file is published in the format of rss2.0 enclosure feed;
(2) the receiving end can automatically receive, download, and transfer the file to the desired place and place it in the player's program list.
(3) Wikipedia defines these three points. I made a comparison. The focus is: Is podcasting only an audio?

The earliest saying about podcasting was diyradio (self-help broadcasting) and TiVo in broadcasting. In December 13 last year, Wikipedia said: "podcasting originated from ...... Ipod, both broadcasting and webcasting. Podcasting and ...... TiVo is similar, but Podcasting is used for audio programs and is currently free of charge. However, it should be noted that this technology can "pull" any file, including software updates, photos and videos ". That is, it is mainly positioned on audio, but it does not rule out the possibility of extending to other fields.

The latest definition of Wikipedia is: "Podcasting is a method for publishing files to the Internet, allowing users to subscribe to RSS and automatically receive files ". Files. Wikipedia uses the word files. Since files are used, the file formats may be diverse, either audio, video, or other formats.

Recently, Robert scoble and Dave winer have been discussing whether podcasting contains non-audio formats. Although many people think that Podcasting is audio, my personal opinion is that podcasting will not only be audio, but also extend to other fields such as video in the near future, the emergence of video podcast is only a matter of time-in fact, there are already many video programs in Apple's iTunes. Including rocketboom, which is currently very popular, is also in iTunes.

In my opinion, if Podcasting is understood as only an audio blog, it may be too narrow to be a self-help broadcast. It is even more exciting to extend podcasting to video and other fields. If we review the history of media development, we will start with newspapers, and then broadcast alone, and the emergence of TV will overwrite the broadcast.

In short, podcasting is not a self-help broadcast, not a voice blog, or a network broadcast, or webcast. I will discuss it more in detail later.

2. Podcasting is an excellent product and has a Chinese problem. Today, I also want to take this opportunity to briefly discuss the problem of Chinese translations of podcasting, podcast, and podcaster. I have discussed this issue many times in my blog.

I first translated podcaster into a podcast and podcast into a wave. This problem was revealed when I spoke about it. But later I thought it was inappropriate, because from the text perspective, the two can be recognized, but it is not easy to distinguish between the two. But now the problem is that many media and blogs (or blogger) refer to podcast and podcasting as podcasts, which can easily cause confusion.

Zheng, doubleaf, and Andy have their own suggestions on the translation of podcast, such as network play, portable play, and free play/wave. In fact, it is not very important to name a product. But there is a principle that we must maintain its purity in Chinese and cannot confuse ourselves with Chinese. If podcast is also called a "podcast", it is possible that "podcast making a podcast" is something that makes people feel like a cloud. Therefore, it is recommended that podcast and podcasting should be in English before the conclusion is made. podcaster, if "podcast" is acceptable, it is a podcast or there are other better translations, this is no problem. A unified understanding can reduce confusion.
