These are three main BOM concepts. Engineering BOM--EBOM (Engineering BOM): The data structure used in product engineering design management. The corresponding file formats mainly include product details, drawing directories, material quota details, and various product categories. Planning BOM--PBOM (Plan BOM): The EBOM is designed by the process engineer Based on the processing level and capability of the factory. It is used for process design and manufacturing management. It can be used to clearly understand the manufacturing relationship between parts and tracking how parts are manufactured, where to make, who to make, what to use and other information. PBOM is also one of the key management data structures of mrp ii/ERP production management. In fact, Bom is a broad concept. Based on different purposes, BOM has many types. Bom on the design drawing paper, Plan BOM, calculate the Manufacturing BOM of the final product assembly, and calculate the cost BOM of the cost, maintenance and Repair Bom. According to different stages of different application focus, we often see different BOM formulation, common are: Design BOM--DBOM (design BOM): Design Department dbom is the overall product information, common text formats include product details, drawing directories, and material quota details. The source of design BOM information is generally the title bar and Detail Bar information in the complete set of design drawings provided by the design department. Sometimes it also involves some information on the process card prepared by the Process Department. The design Bom is generally generated at the end of the design. If there is a large number of borrow relationships, the design BOM can be summarized at the beginning of the design phase, then, design tasks based on the newly generated parts.
