Box model (box model, IE box model)

The box model contains several elements:

Padding;margin;content;border

This is known to everyone, but also the definition of the book, but in the case of IE is a bit different; it's two standards.

Firefox uses the standard model, while IE uses Microsoft's own standards

Here I use the formula to illustrate:

W3c:

Wide =width+ (padding-left) + (padding-right) + (Margin-left) + (margin-right) + (Border-left) + (border-right)
High =height+ (Padding-top) + (Padding-bottom) + (margin-top) + (Margin-bottom) + (border-top) + (Border-bottom)

IE Box Model:

Wide =width+ (border-left) + (border-right)
High =height+ (Border-top) + (Border-bottom)
