I. product selection for wireless network implementation

1. if a wireless network is used, we should not only consider the quality, performance and price of the wireless product, but also the technical support and implementation capabilities of the product supplier or channel, in addition, You must select multiple companies for trial testing.

2. After selecting the product, it is best to select the same company for subsequent products. I think this is important. My company's initial product was Macromate's MOB-811 product. In the following project, the selection of products of other brands not only brought trouble to after-sales support, it also affects the transmission quality of the network, and finally it is necessary to use the same company's products again. The best way to use products of the same company is that the device has good compatibility and can improve the performance of the device. If there is a problem, it will not be caused by the product of different companies.

Ii. Typical Installation Problems of Wireless Networks

1. Because the installation location is not selected, you need to change the installation location afterwards.

Solution: when selecting the installation location, ensure that there should be sufficient visible space between the antennas, and then consider whether installation and maintenance are convenient (after all, as long as the antenna is installed and debugged, the possibility of maintenance is relatively small). You should also ask the company's upper-level opinions to determine whether the building exterior is affected, and learn how likely the selected location will be used for other purposes in the future.

2. The installation was not completely fixed, causing a strong wind to blow down the entire antenna pole.

Solution: If the antenna cannot be fixed on the walls of the building through the antenna pole, the weight of the antenna rod base should be increased, and several more wires should be found to tighten the antenna rod from four angles.

3. The installation location is often caused by an accidental collision of the antenna, causing the antenna to shift, resulting in network transmission problems.

Solution: require the Company's engineering department to display a clear reminder sign near the antenna, and adopt isolation.

4. The advertisement banners near the antenna were not taken into account during installation. When the wind was high, the banners were blown to the antenna, which moved the antenna and affected signal transmission.

Solution: if there is an advertisement frame or an advertisement frame is to be added near it in the future, it should be communicated with the relevant departments of the company in advance, and the frame should be fixed so as not to affect the antenna.

5. The installation of wireless bridges and other devices is affected due to poor waterproofing.

Solution: feed back the cables through the wall and handle them with absorbent materials. The feedback cables should not go from top to bottom into the Wireless Bridge cabinet, but should go from bottom to bottom, in this case, if there is water flowing along the feedback cable into the room, it will be dripped onto the ground.

Note: The antenna feedback cable used to connect the outdoor antenna and the Wireless Bridge should not be too long, because the longer the feedback cable, the faster the gain attenuation of the signal.
