Cacheasbitmap = 'true' can reduce CPU usage and improve efficiency?
The reason is:
If this parameter is set to true, Flash Player uses the internal bitmap representation of the cached button. This enhances the performance of buttons that contain Complex Vector content.
For buttons with cacheasbitmap set to true, Flash Player stores a bitmap representation for the four buttons.
All vector data with cached Bitmap Buttons will be drawn in place rather than on the main stage. Then, the bitmap is copied to the main stage as an unstretched, unrotated pixel aligned to the nearest pixel boundary. For parent objects, pixels are mapped one to one. If the border of the bitmap is changed, the bitmap is re-created without stretching it.
An internal bitmap is not created unless the cacheasbitmap attribute is set to true.
PS: If your component does not move, set it to cacheasbitmap = true. If it is dynamic, no more...
