Cannot enter Chinese in PowerPoint 2007

Check to see if the advanced text service is turned off.

From the Start menu, locate Control Panel and double-click Regional and Language Options.

In the pop-up window, switch to the Language tab and click the Details button.

Go to the text services and Input Language Settings window, click the Advanced tab, and uncheck the "Advanced Text services" check box by default, and if so, clear it. Then exit the Settings window.
