In the last section we introduced how to draw the big eyes of the cartoon beauty , next we will draw the handsome man's eye, see what characteristic of male's eye.

The average male character will be overlooked by comic-book enthusiasts, because many draw friends think men are more difficult to draw. In fact, it is not so "difficult" problem, although the difference between the two is indeed relatively large. Most men's eyes are thinner and narrower than those of women.
Start drawing a thick, relatively long curve, similar to a horizontal line, but still a little curved curve. The edges of the lines are curved slightly inward, and the left side is more pronounced.

Gently draw two diagonal guides to help define the bottom eye frame, the guides starting from both sides of the frame, almost perpendicular to each other. Do not draw too oblique or peaceful straight, otherwise the size of the eye is not so accurate. Draw the lower eye frame of the eye and help you determine its position through the guides.

Erase the guides and draw the iris. The iris is a perfect circle, but part of it is obscured by eyelids. The eyeball is too small to draw, at least to see the complete object. (unless you want to express a strong emotion, such as surprise or anger, please refer to the contents of the tutorial "emotional chapter")

The male's eyes are also shiny, but the generally high light area is not so big and obvious. Draw an oval on the left edge of the eyeball, and a sharp-shaped one in the right corner as a high light area.

Draw the pupil, the light and the darker shadows, especially if the character has a pair of dark-coloured eyes. Double eyelids and eyelashes. Men's eyebrows are generally darker, thicker, so don't remember to draw a thin brow. That's not hard, right?
Don't worry about looking too feminine, it's often hard to tell which eyes must belong to a man and which must belong to a woman. Certain styles of eye can also be used by men and women.

Slender, narrow-eyed eyes are often (and certainly not absolute) associated with darker, deeper characters. Bad guys generally have narrower eyes, but don't take all the characters that look like them as enemies. To draw this style of eyes, first draw a long curve, note that the left side of the curve than the right oblique.

Next, draw two diagonal guides from both sides of the frame, and the angle is different from the first three in the tutorial: one on the left is much more flat than the right one. The reference guide draws the lower part of the eye, it should be curved, not a straight line, so the whole eye looks like an elongated pointed oval.

Erase the auxiliary line and draw the iris well. The iris should be eyelids, otherwise the iris is a perfect circle. Add the line color to the right corner of the eye.

Draw the high light, and the double eyelid above the eye.

Add the pupil and draw a good shadow on the iris, then add eyebrows, this eye is finished. Finally the line processing smooth, add dark on the finish.

After you've painted your right eye, or you'll want to draw your left eye again. All you have to do is draw an exact mirror image of the original eye. However, the placement of the second eye requires some skill. In animated eyes, no matter what style, the eyes are always the length of one eye. The spacing may be large or small, but it is a good way to measure with the length of the single eye (that is, the three booths are often said to be five eyes).

You don't always draw the front of a character's face, so you should know how to arrange your eyes at different angles. In the "Head" section of the regular facial presentation tutorial, you'll see how to define the position of the eye by using a curved line as a guide. When you are a beginner, use a drawing line to help you determine the position of your eyes until you are really proficient-you don't want your eyes to deviate from the center. Note that on the left, the right eye is much more flat than the left, because it is farther away from you.

This one is very similar-except that the head is tilted in another direction. In this picture, the left eye is smaller than the right, but the eyes are still the curve along the face. If the position of the two eyes is not appropriate, it will look very bad, so you must be careful when painting!
