Before the emergence of the cat6 system, the traditional four-to-eight-core copper cable system had only five or more transmission performance levels, and the system's transmission bandwidth was only 100 MHz, the bandwidth requirements of the new six-category system will exceed 150% of the traditional five-category/super five-category system. To meet this new requirement, a large number of electrical parameters, especially crosstalk parameters, that were not previously specified in the era of five types of systems, were added in the design of copper systems, including near-end crosstalk, power accumulation near-end string winding, remote crosstalk, etc. The main cause of this crosstalk is the mutual interference between electrical signals transmitted on different lines in an external skin. The concentrated occurrence point of crosstalk is the connection part of cables, modules, and distribution frames. This type of crosstalk changes with the line-to-space location and transmission frequency. In order to make the new system meet the strict requirements of the six types of standards, it is indeed the most common and easiest solution to reduce the effect of crosstalk by increasing the spatial distance between lines. Therefore, the choice of most cabling vendors is to use a cross isolation device in a traditional cable structure to achieve six types of Transmission Performance, this allows many users to associate cross isolation with Category 6.
Word Segmentation is equally valid
In addition to the cross isolation design, is there any other design method that can meet the transmission requirements set forth by the six types of international standards? The answer is yes.
The cat6 system is an end-to-end channel system. The link includes jumpers, modules, horizontal cables, and distribution frames. This improves the performance of the entire system, this includes two parts: cables and connectors.
