CentOS Installation Process notes: CentOS Installation Process
First, write some small details that need to be paid attention to during CentOS7 installation. No images are provided for the moment.
If you use a dual system, you must be careful when installing Centos:
(1) grub in linux (it should be grub2) will overwrite the boot program in windows, and the boot program will be overwritten, and the subsequent files will naturally not be booted out.
(At that time, I saw the installation of "laruence linux Private food (basic)". As a result, all windows files, that is, ntfs, were washed away. I noticed a reminder on laruence's book later .... Daily pitfalls)
(2) It is best for the bios to figure out its own device first. I bought the Asus x550ze for 15 years and wrote the VM590Z plug-in to prevent me from finding it, the video card is integrated on the motherboard. The installation system burned out the video card at the end of the semester. The entire motherboard was changed, and 680 was replaced with the old one. Asus should generally be F2 into the bios. When it is turned on, it will press down. Otherwise, it will have to be restarted too soon. I don't know how to use EFI, which is the evolutionary version of EFI.
(3) the installation is actually very easy to install on Centos7. It is basically a silly operation, that is, other things need to be noted: for example, the network should be connected to the wifi or network cable early in the morning, the "network and host name" is in the lower left corner of the "installation source,
Otherwise, if something goes wrong, the command line interface does not have the network itself and does not understand it. Baidu many say it's vim/etc/systemconfig/ifcfg or something, then, what onboot = yes? Unable to connect at all. What is the gateway changed to 8.8.8.8.4.4? Useless young Lang. Come back and reinstall it ..
(4) do not install software at least. For Beginners, if "Install software at least", you have to install many things on your own and enter "select software". select a gnome or kde, and then select some desired "software". I personally chose gnome, java, and python environments, because I do not need to install too many software in learning java and python. I have selected 6 or 7, the installation shows more than 1500 projects, and the installation time is not only long, the system is installed, but also feel that there will be fewer cards than the installation, as shown in the software like Firefox or something to open slowly. I installed it several times, not an illusion? .. If you have a foundation, you can install it at least. Bird said: you have learned how to install linux more than a dozen times ......
