After installing CentOS6.5, through ifconfig to view IP to use Putty software to implement remote link, but found no eth0, only l0
Solution:
(1) Enter the following directory:/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/
(2) Create a file under the current directory named: Ifcfg-eth0
(3) The new file can be edited at this time, add the following content (individual items to be modified)
Device=eth0 Physical Device Name
ipaddr=192.168.1.x IP Address
netmask=255.255.255.0 Subnet Mask
network=192.168.1.0 specified network, automatically computed by IP address and subnet mask
gateway=192.168.1.1 Gateway Address
broadcast=192.168.1.255 broadcast address, automatically computed by IP address and subnet mask
Onboot=[yes|no] Whether the device is activated at boot time
Userctl=[yes|no] Whether a non-root user can control the device
BOOTPROTO=[NONE|STATIC|BOOTP|DHCP]
Do not use protocol at boot | static Assignment | BOOTP Protocol |DHCP Protocol
HWADDR=00:13:D3:27:9F:80 MAC Address
Name=eth0 file name
The following image is a screenshot of my native editor:
(4) After editing: Press ESC and enter ": Wq" after the carriage return to save;
You can view the content you just modified with "more Ifcfg-eth0"
(5) Add the "ifup eth0" statement to the last line of the "/etc/rc.d/rc.loacl" file
(6) Follow the 4th step method to save and restart.
Note: After the configuration is best through "ping www.baidu.com" to see if Liunx can be networked, if not networking please refer to
