Centos7 change the root password in single-user mode

For versions earlier than 7, we all know how to enter the single-user mode. When starting the system, press the letter 'e' when selecting the kernel, and go to the edit mode to locate 'Ro ', add single to the front.


In version 7, the above method is no longer applicable.

1. Press the letter 'e' to start the kernel and enter the editing mode.
2. Locate the 'ro' line.


3. Change 'ro' to 'rw init =/sysroot/bin/sh'. Press ctrl + x to enter the single-user mode.


4. After entering the single-user mode, enter the following command to change the root password, and restart the system.


Chroot/sysroot/
 
Passwd root
 
Touch/. autorelabel
