CentOS7 turn on the custom hotspot hotspot

Newer GNOME integrates hotspot features on wifi settings and theoretically supports all GNOME environments (newer versions are required):

Open the WiFi setting after opening the battery sign in the upper right corner, turn on hotspot to see the default hotspot configuration, if you need to manually modify the hotspot password and name need:

After opening the terminal

cd/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/

This folder will keep the WiFi information you have connected.

And then

sudo vi ifcfg-hotspot

The default essid (WiFi name) is the host name and then changes to the name you want.

If you want to modify the default password,

sudo vi keys-hotspot

Then change the string inside the single quotation mark to the hotspot password you need.

Finally reboot or restart GNOME, success.
