A skill to use WinRAR, to tell the truth, I do not like WinRAR, but there is no denying that the software has its convenient place, in some details 7Zip is not as good as WinRAR do.

For example, the WinRAR by default is RAR format, but we want to use a ZIP file by default, let WinRAR compress the file by default to zip format, but do not want to change other compression software.

The method is simple, open winrar, select "Options"-"settings", in the pop-up Settings window, click "Compression Options"-"Create default configuration ...", the "file type" Modified from RAR to zip. Once this is modified, when you create a compressed file by right-clicking it, you will find that the file is compressed into a ZIP format by default.

7-zip Although free open source is good, but 7-zip seems to be unable to use the ZIP format by default, this detail is inferior to winrar.
