1. Change the number of days marked by new before the list item:

Run the following command on the moss Server:

Cd c: "Program Files" common files "Microsoft shared" Web Server Extensions "12" bin>
Stsadm-O setproperty-propertyname days-to-show-New-icon-PV 3-URL http: // ssjin073: 9031/

 

The preceding command changes the value of days-to-show-New-icon to 3.

 

Run the following command to view the Modification result:

Stsadm-O getproperty-propertyname days-to-show-New-icon-URL http: // ssjin073: 9031/

 

2. If you want to completely cancel the new identifier, you can use spcamleditor to modify the schema of the field:

 

Open the site with spcamleditor, find the list to be modified, find the title (link to project) bar, and delete the following content in <displaypattern>:

<Ifnew>
<HTML> <! [CDATA [ <HTML> New <HTML> <! [CDATA [">]>

</Ifnew>
