BT and Cisco today announced the use of the BT Onevoice UCC service portfolio to launch a cloud computing-based Global IPT solution, and further deepen long-term collaboration between the two parties through innovative Unified Communication Technology. The Hosted IP telephone service is the world's first service based on the Cisco Hosted UC collaborative voice communication platform, enables enterprises to use BT and Cisco cloud computing-based technologies to bring Integrated Voice, mobile, and data services to each of their computers. The BT managed IPTS service is now available in the UK and will be available to enterprises in the United States and Europe, the Middle East and Africa in 2010, followed by the Asia Pacific region.
