This article gives you a detailed introduction of the TP-LINK wireless router setting method, and gives a detailed operation steps, I believe you have read this article for a further understanding of the TP-LINK.
Generally, a vro uses two network environments: direct access to Ethernet bandwidth and re-Access to Ethernet bandwidth through other routers or servers in the LAN.
1. Single-Stage wireless route settings: (access Ethernet bandwidth directly through this router)
This method is very simple. You only need to read the manual and know how your broadband can be accessed. There are generally three types: Virtual dialing, automatic IP allocation, and fixed IP (static ), then, follow the instructions in the instruction documents to go through the following steps:
1. Connect the LAN port of the route to the computer Nic, and set the IP address on the NIC to the same network segment as the route;
2. Open the browser, enter the IP address of the router, for example, 192.168.1.1, in the address bar, and open the settings page (enter the default password, for example, admin and admin );
3. Set network parameters: (using virtual dialing as an example)
① Internet access: ADSL virtual dialing (PPPoE)
② Fill in the information box: ADS account
Password: the login password provided by the carrier
③ Wireless parameter settings: you can set a password or switch;
④ The gateway of the lower-level wired online computer Nic is set as the IP address of the router (Note: it is not the IP address of the WAN port !) For example, 192.168.1.1;
DNS: the DNS address of the Telecom server.
⑤ All LAN ports and wireless networks can be used for Internet access.
If you use the other two methods to access the Internet, you must set the WAN port information.
If you use TP-Link in a LAN, pay attention to the following points:
Ii. Multi-Level routing cascade settings: wireless Internet access through the LAN)
Go to the router settings page, as shown in the preceding figure;
Set network parameters:
① Internet access: Ethernet broadband fixed IP (static ). If you use a server, you can select whether to automatically allocate IP addresses based on the server settings;
② Fill in the information box: IP Address: can be selected at will. (If the server is used and the server has allocation rules, follow the rules.) For example: 192.168.1.2
Child mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: the IP address of the upper-level router (the internal IP address of the server), for example, 192.168.1.254.
DNS server: the DNS address of the Telecom server, for example, 202.102.197.122 (different telecommunications data centers)
③ The Gateway of the lower-level computer Nic is set as the IP address of the router (Note: it is not the IP address of the WAN port !) For example, 192.168.1.1; DNS: the DNS address of the Telecom server.
④ Wireless parameter settings
⑤ All LAN ports and wireless networks can be used for Internet access.
This is not complicated. You can try it if necessary.
