We will monitor according to monitoring type divided into site availability monitoring and server monitoring two categories, each category has a variety of user-configurable monitoring types to choose from, detailed description as follows:
1 Site Availability Monitoring
monitors any specified URL in the Web site for availability monitoring and response time.
monitoring type |
profile |
http monitor |
Ping monitor |
ICMP ping detection for the specified server for availability monitoring and response time, packet loss rate, etc. |
TCP port monitor |
monitors the server TCP port availability and response time. |
UDP monitor |
monitors the availability and response time of server UDP ports. |
DNS monitor |
monitors the availability and response time of DNS servers and obtains a list of various DNS records that support DNS polling (RRS). |
POP3 monitoring |
monitors the availability and response time of POP3 servers. |
SMTP monitor |
monitors the availability and response time of the SMTP server. |
FTP monitor |
monitors the availability and response time of the FTP server. |
Related instructions:
I. These types of monitoring do not require users to write code or install agents;
Ii. define a standard monitoring item for each type of monitoring to be used by the primary user. These monitoring entries allow all users to see.
2) Server monitoring

User-defined monitoring |
User-defined monitoring type. |
Windows, Linux |
Related instructions:
I. Server monitoring type is for Windows, Linux server and the above application monitoring, the need to install cloud monitoring agent;
II. implementation: The installation of cloud monitoring agent, users can use the standard Plug-ins, can also be based on the input and output specifications to write their own plug-ins, by the cloud monitoring agent self-regulation;
Iii. we predefined several common types of server monitoring. The corresponding plug-ins are installed automatically with the agent installation;
IV. Allows users to customize the monitoring type.
3) Service Monitoring
Currently not supported, follow-up will be for Aliyun launched RDS, OSS, ACE, SLB and other products and services to provide monitoring services;
