Cnforums National Day special edition

Yesterday's Community Server: forums 2.01 (ASP. NET forums) was finally released. After running it, it fixed a lot of bugs in the previous 2.0, and the interface was more beautiful ......

Community Server: forums is always written by people outside China. Although it supports multiple languages, it is not very suitable for Chinese people and has made some localization attempts, it is far from enough to find that only Localization is needed.Program/Adjust the database structure appropriately, just like the dottext localization work done by Dudu.

As forums's localization technology and ideas become increasingly mature, the Later ASP. NET forums localization version will be named cnforums, and the second development will be carried out on the basis of forums to make it more in line with Chinese people's usage habits. (The cnforums. Net domain name has taken effect. Unfortunately, the website will not be officially activated until the National Day. In the future, this website will be officially released, demonstrated, exchanged, and feedback sites for cnforums .)

To celebrate the 2.01 anniversary of the National Day, cnforums National Day special edition was released on the basis of Community Server: forums:
1. Fixed compatibility issues on the Chinese platform, default Chinese Language/font, full Chinese Installation Wizard and detailed installation instructions
2. added a Chinese nickname to make your ID more personalized
3. Register/log on to IP address records
4. Moderator Management
5. Perfect Chinese search solution: There are three search modes available in the background Forum Configuration
1). In normal mode (default mode), you can directly use like in SQL, which is suitable for all servers, but with low retrieval efficiency.
2). Forum indexes use the index function provided by forums, but it is a pity that it does not support Chinese.
3). SQL full-text index. You only need to create a full-text index for the subject and body columns of forums_posts. This option is very efficient! Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, the voting and excellent post functions cannot be added due to the time relationship. The moderator privilege has some bugs. After the National Day, many new functions will be added in addition to these features, such as improving personal messages and integrating webim.
