When Dreamweaver and Fireworks were released this year, Macromedia called them Dreamweaver/Fireworks. From this perspective, Fireworks and Dreamweaver are inseparable. If you use Dreamweaver instead of Fireworks, so I believe that is a big pity. Because the combination of these two software applications will bring unprecedented convenience to your webpage creation work.
In Fireworks, you can directly create drop-down menus and output HTML files, directly create library elements applied to Dreamweaver, and some simple Behaviors can be directly completed under Fireworks, some aspects are even more convenient than Dreamweaver.
In Dreamweaver, you can quickly call Fireworks to edit and modify the graphic files applied to a webpage, and then update the modifications in the Dreamweaver editing status.
For example, if you insert an image into a webpage and then you need to re-process the image, you can follow these steps:
- Insert the image you need
- Select the image and click Edit on its property panel.
- The Fireworks software will be opened later. If the file you want to modify exists in the original png file, you can choose to open the original file editing in the pop-up dialog box. If no original file exists, click "cancel" to edit the existing file.
- Then you can modify the file in Fireworks. During The modification, if you want to view its status after modification on the webpage, in Fireworks, you can select the File --> Update command (the original Save command) to view the effect of the modified image in Dreamweaver. No matter you make any changes to the image in Fireworks, it will be quickly presented in Dreamweaver.
