When I came to Singapore again, everything seemed to be more familiar than before. It may have been a result of memory accumulation after returning home, so it has produced a continuation of some dusty memories.
When we arrived, the plane was delayed for one and a half hours. When we arrived at Changi airport, it was already. At this time, the airport has basically been "hitting", except for some back-and-forth staff, who are passengers from other countries waiting for the night flight. Go out of the warehouse, go downstairs, exit the customs, take luggage, exit the hall, and go out to the channel on the right hand side to take the taxi.
Take a taxi and go directly to hotel 81 In Joo Chia Road. There are already fewer cars on the road, accelerating the taxi flight. Bright street lights follow the plants in the flower belt, while the gloomy trees in the distance are dark, and the winding lanes. The familiar scenery makes my mouth feel better. I haven't been to Joo chia in the past, and I don't want to go through many empty streets. Now, two bosha appear suddenly, some idle people, just like sitting in a street teahouse in Chengdu, sit here to eat, chat, and watch TV leisurely. So late at night and so leisurely, this is rare in the rest of Singapore I 've stayed in (and later seen in Geylang, I realized that this is not a small place ).
A large room was temporarily ordered at Hotel 81, and three people crowded down like this. After the luggage was taken care of, it was about 2 o'clock in the morning. Not far from the hotel, I came to the bansha we just saw, and the crowd is still in constant flow. The boss greeted us with enthusiasm and sent three bowls of meat. Mm ...... This alkali flavor is very heavy, and it is also a characteristic of Singapore.
The lights of Joo chia in the night are bright and dark.
There is no feeling of Modern Singapore in this area, because the houses are old and short and old. Three or two pedestrians exchange in unattended streets. What illuminates their roads is not the dim small street lights, but also the various colors of advertisements and decorative neon outside the street store. These colorful lights shine on the wall, print them on the ground, and bend to the distance.
Early the next morning, we went to the new Office of the synergy building in International Business Park (IBP) located at Jurong east. Again, I felt very excited to see friends who are familiar with Germany, Ziyang, Patty, Ian, christin, and other Chinese colleagues who are here. However, recently everyone has been too busy (I am not so busy to come back to Singapore so soon), so now I have no chance to have a meal together. However, of course, this is under planning: the new office has a more prominent theme and the decoration looks "simple but not simple". The disadvantage is that the central air conditioner is too cold and the hands are frozen ......
As Joo Chia's hotel 81 is too far away from the new office, we moved to the harbour Ville Hotel next day, which is closer to the east of Jurong. The hotel is next to St. Teresa's Church (St. Teresa church). We should leave for work when we can hear the solemn bell in the morning. Currently, a single room is much more spacious and provides a better rest. This is very close to sentosa and you can visit it anytime. Hoho ~~
Then start the first week of work.
