Supported command line switches for the emulator
For developers who do not want to use embedded Visual C ++ to run simulators, the following command line switches are supported:
L/Video
Optional. Sets the solution and bit depth displayed by the simulator. If the skin you use already has its own solution settings, this parameter will be ignored. The parameter format must be <width> x
L/Ethernet
Optional. Allows or disables the Ethernet controller of a Windows CE simulator. The parameter value can be none, shared, virtualswitch, or MAC address used by the Ethernet adapter.
L/Skin
Optional. Specifies the skin file to use. This file must be an XML file that describes the skin.
L/Ceimage
Required. Specifies the path name and file name of the kernel image used by the simulator.
L/Memorysize
Optional. Set the memory size allocated to the simulator image in megabytes. This value must be an integer multiple of 4 between 32 and 256. For Smartphone 2003, this value cannot be lower than 64.
L/Fastbackground
Optional. When the simulator is in the background, the priority of the simulator execution is increased.
L/Hostkey
Optional. Select a key on the computer in the development environment as part of the shortcut key combination on the simulator. For more information, seeEmulator keyboard shortcuts.
L/Vmname
Optional. Specifies the text of the title bar. The string is placed in a pair of double quotation marks. If the skin you use already uses the title bar text, this parameter is ignored.
L/Vmid
Optional. Indicates the guid of the simulator ). Setting vmid allows the simulator to run under multiple configurations at the same time.
