Launchy -- Quick Start Program

Two years ago, a colleague recommended this software to me.

I press Alt + space countless times every day and enter the name of the program I want to start (in most cases, I only need to enter the first two letters of the program ), open the program I want. You don't need to locate the program on a desktop filled with icons or in a bloated Start Menu.

Launchy also supports the plug-in mechanism. You can implement quick search and computation through the plug-in. However, I rarely use these features.

TIPS:

By default, Launchy searches for common locations such as the Start menu and desktop, so when you type a program name, too much interference information may appear, and sometimes the program name is long and hard to remember. I personally like to create a directory dedicated to storing shortcuts so that Launchy can only retrieve this directory. Then give each program a memorable name.

Everything -- no faster search than him

I have previously written an article ([recommended] Everything, the fastest search tool in history) to recommend this tool. With this tool, I have rarely opened the resource manager to find information. An Alt + G is used to tune out the search window, and then enter keywords for the information to be searched, separated by spaces. For example, if I want to find a C # related e-book, then I can enter "csharp chm | pdf" to list all the materials that meet the conditions in half a second.

Everything also supports regular expressions and can be integrated into the right-click menu to retrieve a specific folder. the built-in simple Web server allows others to access Everything for retrieval through a browser. The function is very powerful, and the occupied space is very small. The index is only a few MB for a GB hard disk. The only disadvantage is that only file names and paths can be retrieved, and Content Retrieval is not supported. However, how many times can we use Content Retrieval in a day? Even if necessary, we will search for specific software. What are their responsibilities.

Lingoes-a small and powerful free dictionary Tool

I believe many people have used dictionary software such as Kingsoft, which is huge and free of charge (I don't know if it's free now ). Lingoes is a compact dictionary software developed by Chinese people.

 

The total size of some basic dictionaries is only a dozen MB, which is very small. However, there are a lot of functions, such as screen-based word taking and screen reading, and the quality of the existing dictionary is also very high. If your hard disk is large, you can go to the next Wikipedia and the Wei's Dictionary (which requires several hundred MB of space ). In addition, his interface is also very beautiful, making people very comfortable to use.

Foxit Reader-perfect alternative to Acrobat Reader

Many people have used Adobe's Acrobat PDF reader. However, the reader is too large to start. Foxit Reader has been liked by many people since its launch. Because of its small size, the simplest installation requires only 3 M. However, the functions are unambiguous. Recently, Foxit Software decided to give the former paid version of Foxit Reader Pro free of charge and won a good reputation.

The rendering Effect of Foxit Reader was evaluated last time, basically comparable to that of Adobe's official PDF Reader. My personal reading experience is quite good. No discomfort. Windows Live Writer-the best offline blog Editor

Bloggers generally do not like to edit articles directly in the background of a blog. This is for many reasons. One is easy to cause loss of article modification due to network problems, the other is unable to Easily upload images, style editing is not convenient, and so on. The offline editor solves these problems. Microsoft's Live Writer is the most powerful offline blog editing tool and free of charge. The plug-in can also expand its functions. OneNote-I love my laptop

When I used OneNote for the first time, I fell in love with her deeply-sorry, I used such a word, and it was my fault to give you goose bumps.

Before OneNote, I have been searching for a Knowledge Management Software suitable for myself. I have tried a lot of software that is well evaluated on the Internet. I usually abandoned it in less than two days, most of the reasons are that the interface is too ugly and the editing function is too simple or not intuitive, which leads to my desire to use it. Once I saw my colleague using OneNote as a meeting record, I tried installing it when I looked good. There is only one feeling after the experience, "it's her ". From then on, my personal knowledge management, including the diary, has been organized using OneNote.

As a Web developer, I installed multiple browsers on my computer, including IE8, Maxthon, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, and Safari. I have used each browser for a long time. Firefox is the most powerful one I personally think, but its strength lies not in itself, but in the huge plug-in library behind it. This is not comparable to any browser, including the Chrome browser favored by bone fans, at least temporarily. Notepad2 -- you can throw the notepad that comes with Windows.

UltraEdit32 is the most powerful tool for processing large-capacity text. It features similar to Notepad ++ and is also very comprehensive and powerful. However, I am not satisfied with the high speed of the two software. Therefore, I am used to using Notepad2 as a daily text editor. This feature is enough for me in most cases. Including setting file encoding, code syntax coloring, and regular expression search. It also supports large-capacity text. At least the same as Notepad ++.

Google Reader-share knowledge anytime, anywhere

You may get a glimpse of this title, because Google Reader and the tools mentioned above do not seem to be a race. Besides, Google Reader is not an RSS Reader, what is the relationship with knowledge sharing?

In fact, Google Reader has become an indispensable tool in my life to acquire and share knowledge.

Unlike many RSS readers, Google Reader saves historical RSS content. For example, I have subscribed to a blog of a certain person. Technically, I can only see the latest RSS content, but if someone has subscribed to this RSS feed before, then I can see the previous historical content. As long as Google Reader receives a subscription, it starts to save the data. In addition, in Google Reader, you can share the information you have read with others at any time, instead of limiting the content in Google Reader.

You just need to drag and drop the Note in Reader above to the Bookmarks Bar. When you see any interesting articles on the Internet, you can select a piece of text and click the bookmarks, you can share this article with your Google Reader friends.

Each person has different interests, which can be viewed from the content shared by each friend.
