Common MIME types (set MIME types for FLV and MP4)

Maybe you may wonder why the 404 error "this page cannot be found" always occurs when I upload FLV or MP4 files to the server and enter the correct address to access the file through HTTP? This indicates that MP4 files cannot be identified by the server. In fact, this is the reason why the corresponding MIME type is not set in IIS. How can I set the MIME type?

To enable MP4 files, right-click the website or directory you want to change in "Internet Information (IIS) manager" to open a window like this (I right-click a folder instead of a site, therefore, if you right-click the site, there may be more options than my option cards. Follow these steps to add MIME type ing settings in MP4 format on the server:
"Start"> "Control Panel"> "Administrative Tools"> "Internet Information Service (IIS manager)", find your website, right-click> "attribute"> "HTTP header"> "MIME type"> click "new", enter "application/octet-stream" in the "extension name" box, and then click "OK. The "MIME type" is only a description and does not have to be entered with "FLV-application/octet-stream ".

"Start"> "Control Panel"> "Administrative Tools"> "Internet Information Service (IIS manager)", find your website, right-click "properties"> "HTTP header"> "MIME type"> "new", and enter ". in the "FLV" and "MIME type" boxes, enter "FLV-application/octet-stream" and click "OK. The "MIME type" is only a description and does not have to be entered with "FLV-application/octet-stream ".
