Common securecrt settings

I. Shortcut Keys:
1. CTRL + A: move the cursor to the beginning of the line]
2. CTRL + E: move the cursor to the end of a row]
3. CTRL + D: delete a character after the cursor
4. CTRL + W: delete all the characters from the beginning of the line to the position of the current cursor]
5. crtl + K: delete all characters from the current cursor to the end of the line]
6. Alt + B: Open the Quick Start column.
7. Alt + 1/2/3... : Switch between multiple session tags]

Ii. Mouse replication: [common]
Options-> Global Options-> terminal hook copy on select, and hook paste on middle button
In this way, you can select a character with the mouse in secrecrt and copy and paste it directly to the clipboard.

3. Double-click Copy and open the new session:
Options-> Global Options-> terminal-> tabs select the double-click action drop-down box as the clone tab, so that you can double-click the opened session tag, open a new session tag.

Iv. Use SFTP to upload files between windows: [common]
Press Alt + P in an opened session to open the sftp of the session, view files on the remote server through CD and LS, and view files on windows through LCD and LLS, you can use the put and get commands to upload and download files, which is more efficient than RZ and Sz.

V. keyboard ing: [common]
Options-> Global Options-> General-> default session, click the edit default settings button, and then terminal-> mapped keys, where map a key is used to set the keyboard ing, you can set strings that are frequently required, such as passwords.

6. Maintain the connection:
Options-> Global Options-> General-> default session, click the edit default settings button, hook in terminal to send protocol NO-OP, every 30 seconds, this ensures that securecrt does not lose the connection because it has not been operated for a period of time.

7. Change the color Configuration:
Best Solution: Global Options => terminal => appearance => ANSI color: change the color of normal color to your favorite color. (Check "ANSI color" to display bright colors)

8. Change the maximum column displayed (80 columns by default, less than the screen ):
1) Global Options => terminal => appearance. Adjust the maximum column to 300;
2) Options => session Options => terminal => emulation, adjust the logic column as 132 (or other)

9. display the file path with the tag:
Options => session Options => terminal => emulation
Select terminal as xterm/vshell and select "ANSI color". The label title will be automatically modified and the current directory will be included.

10. Close the confirm disconnection dialog box ":
Options-> Global Options-> General, cancel the "show confirm disconnect dialog box ".
