In the dormitory, How do I control my computer in the lab through computer access?
The methods of Telnet, FTP, shared folder, and Remote Desktop Connection are summarized.
1. Telnet Service
Advantages: easy to operate and versatile
Disadvantage: you cannot upload or download files. You can only set up a remote host (you can access your FTP service to upload and download files, but it is very troublesome ).
Usage:
Controlled HOST: Open the telnet server service on the control panel. Add a user to the user group telnetclients;
Control Host: Open the Telnet client service on the client control panel. Use the Telnet command in cmd.
2. FTP service
Advantage: it is convenient and intuitive to upload and download files.
Disadvantage: files to be downloaded must be put in the FTP folder in advance.
Usage:
Controlled HOST: Open the FTP service on the control panel. Right-click my computer and choose "manage"> "IIS" to set FTP settings.
Control Host: ftp access in IE.
3. Shared Folder
Advantage: You can map network drives for ease of use.
Limitation: must be in the same LAN
4. Remote Desktop
Advantages: the software provided by Microsoft is versatile and powerful.
Disadvantage: to be tested.
