the BIOS sets the method and procedure for the CD drive to boot.
Methods/steps are as follows:
1, turn on the computer power, in the computer appears the first screen information, according to the information on the screen prompts, press the corresponding key to enter the COMs settings interface. Depending on the motherboard model, there may be different ways to enter the CMOS interface. However, most motherboards are supported by pressing the "Del" key to enter.
2, award BIOS set up the optical drive boot method:
Press the keyboard up and down key to position the cursor to the BIOS FEATURES SETUP entry and press ENTER.
3. Next move the cursor to the "boot Sequence" entry, and then use the "PgUp" and "PgDn" keys to change the start order to "Cdrom,c,a".
4, then press ESC on the keyboard to return to the main interface, move the cursor to the SAVE & EXIT SETUP Item and enter the key.
5, enter "Y" in the pop-up window and press ENTER to save the exit. Then the computer reboots and chooses to boot from the CD drive.
6, PHOENIX BIOS set up the optical drive boot method:
In the BIOS setup interface, position the cursor to the "Boot" item by pressing the left and RIGHT arrow keys on the keyboard.
7, then position the cursor to "CD-ROM Driver", and constantly press "+" to stop "CD-ROM" to rise to the first.
8, the final cursor to the "Exit" tab, and select the first "Exit Save Changes", and then press ENTER, and in the pop-up window select "Yes", press ENTER again to determine, then the computer reboots and boot from the CD drive.
