Servlet-mapping provides a URL for the servlet class to access your servlet in the address bar, for example:

Enter Http://localhost:8080/hello in the address bar to access the
Tomcat presses/index.jsp to find mapping in Web. XML, find name:

</servlet-mapping>
Find class by name:

After finding the org.apache.jsp.index_jsp, the object is generated, and the objects such as the generated request,response are initialized with/init (), and the O Method (Doget (), DoPost ()). For example: your project is under Webapps/javatest, the browser directly accesses: Http://127.0.0.1:8080/javatest/hello
