There are three anti-malware protection options in 2.Exchange 2013:

(2) cloud-hosted anti-malware protection--exchange Online Protection (EOP). Leverages partnerships with several of the best anti-malware engines to provide efficient, cost-effective, multi-tier antimalware protection.
(3) Third-party anti-malware protection-you may also use a third-party anti-malware protection program. In this case, you may need to disable the built-in anti-malware protection feature.
3. If your exchange is entering a genuine key, it will be connected to Microsoft server every hour to check for updated content.
