1. Download and install the VMware software, you can try it.
2. Create a new virtual machine, choose a typical installation, install Ubuntu16.04 LTS here, note that when you select a network connection is set to Bridge mode, in the edit--Virtual network editor, the IP in the DHCP pool is changed to the address of the same network segment as the physical host.
3. Open Ubuntu virtual machine, open terminal, install Openssh-server, enter sudo apt install openssh-server , and use ps-ef |grep ssh after installation is complete. See if Sshd appears,
If SSHD is already running, you will need to start the service at Terminal input sudo/etc/init.d/ssh start .
4. Download and install Xshell software, you can try, create a new connection, name your own, host name to fill out the Ubuntu IP address, after the successful connection entered the user name and password, you can successfully log in.
