Create button (Buttons) and navigation bar (navigation Bars) (top)
button is a Web page with a very large number of elements, a number of buttons to form a navigation bar, the role of the navigation bar is to let the viewer clearly know where the current position, and through the navigation bar can easily take the viewer to other places without losing. Therefore, the button behaves in the following states:
- Up: The default state, that is, the normal state, when the mouse is not within the button range.
- Over: The state of the mouse when the button is slipped.
- Down: The state in which the button is clicked, usually in the target Web page.
- Over while down: the state of the button when the mouse is over the button in down state, usually rarely applied.
Now we're going to create a button, select: Insert->new button This will appear in the Buttons editor, as shown in figure:

Switch to over state, click Copy up Graphic,fireworks directly to the up state of the drawing graphics copied to over state, and will maintain all editable properties, if you need more sophisticated processing, you can open onion Skinning make the up state of the graphic faint appearance, for reference. Here, we change the color of the home font.
Similarly, we switch to down state, click Copy over Graphic, the over state of the drawing to copy to down state, and again change the color of the home font. If you want, you can also create a button over the while down state, which is not repeated here.
Finally, we switch to active area, where we can set the parameters related to the link, all the settings will eventually output into the standard HTML code, all we have to do is simply copy the output code to the corresponding location in the page. Set Active area automatically will automatically set a cut, the size of the cut and the size of the button is the same, it is recommended to use this setting, and then click Link Wizard to make the final settings.
Link Wizard has 4 related settings:
- Export Setting: Sets the color swatch used for the picture when it is output.
- Link: Sets the text of the linked Url,alt and the text displayed in the browser status bar.
- Target: Sets how links are opened.
- File name: You can choose whether fireworks automatically name the file or manually specify the file name.
After everything is done, we close the button editor and go back to the usual editing interface, and then you can see a button with a cut and hot zone on the artboard, select this button, and a small arrow in the lower-left corner, which is the sign of symbols (symbol), because the button is just one of the symbols. You can move this button to where you want it. Switch to preview state, you can see the effect of this button immediately.
Select Window->library to open the library, you can see the button you just created, double-click the button in the library to open the button editor again to edit the button.
