In the work need to use raster map, used to be created by developers, today accidentally found MapInfo in the gridmaker such a tool, combined with web search to try it out, incredibly do it, here to take steps to record down, convenient to view later.
1, first in the measurement of the need to create a grid of urban latitude and longitude range
This is relatively simple, the mouse is placed in the map area of the lower left and upper right corner, and then through the MapInfo lower left corner of the CursorLocation to get two points of latitude and longitude, that is, the latitude and longitude of the entire area range.
2. Add Gridmaker tool in MapInfo
Add Gridmaker to Tools->tool Manager in MapInfo.
3. Create a raster layer
Open the Gridmaker tool, set the latitude and longitude in the extents range, this self-understanding to know how to fill out, and then modify the spacing between lines that is the side length of the square grid, and according to the need to choose to maintain location and file name, I save here as Zzgrid.tab, other parameters default.
After creating the effect:
It looks a bit dense, enlarged and tagged with the effect:
In this step, the raster creation has been basically completed, but the current raster layer is not latitude and longitude, we apply the raster layer when the latitude and longitude is still very necessary, so the next plus latitude and longitude.
4. Extracting grid latitude and longitude information
In table->maintenance->table structure, select the newly created raster table. Add two fields, Longitude/latitude,type to float.
Open the Option->mapbasic window, enter the following command, and then enter.
Update set Longitude=centroidx (obj), latitude=centroidy (obj)
Finished soon, and then look at the grid layer's fields, has been added latitude and longitude.
I have verified for myself that the added latitude and longitude is the latitude and longitude of the center point of the grid, so that the creation of the raster layer is finally complete.
