First we need to enter the WIN8 system Setup interface. Touch users can use their fingers to move from the right side of the screen to the left. or move the mouse to the top right corner of the screen or the lower right corner, the Super button menu bar (Charm menu bar), and then select the "Settings" button, the keyboard operation is to press the "Win+i" key, and finally choose "Change computer settings."

Select "User Avatar" in the "personalization" category, at which point we can see the current user avatar, click the "Browse" button at the bottom of the picture to select a ready-made static picture as the user's avatar.

Under the "Create a user Avatar" under a "camera" button to ensure that the camera WIN8 device is working properly, press it to enter the Avatar photography interface.

On the Win8 screen, there are three control buttons at the bottom, the camera options, the timer, and the video mode.

Click on "Camera Options", you can set the percentage of shooting, audio devices, more options can also adjust the brightness, contrast, flicker frequency and exposure mode.

Click on "Timer", then WIN8 will give the countdown before the start of the formal shooting.

Click "Video Mode" to enter the video capture mode.

After setting the camera parameters, click on the screen and the WIN8 system begins to shoot.

If we do not click "video mode", then WIN8 will complete the static photo shoot. After the shot is finished, you can trim it. After setting the clipping range, press "OK" on the bottom right corner, and if you are not satisfied, press the "Redo" button to shoot again.
