When you create a table using Excel 2007, you have an issue: Arrange a list of dates in Excel 2007 in the Order of the year from new to old, while the dates in the same year must be sorted in chronological order.
The specific solution is as follows: Date data begins with A2 cell, and the following b,c,d columns are named "Year", "Month" and "Day" respectively. Then enter "=year (A2)" in B2 and enter "=month (A2)" In the C2, and enter "D2 (=day)" in the A2. Drag and drop the row that contains the last data for the B2, C2, D2 to column A.
Arrange dates in reverse order of year, but in chronological sequence between dates of the same year
Click anywhere in the Excel 2007 table, and then click Start-Sort and filter-custom sort, then complete the following settings in the Sort dialog box that pops up: The primary keyword is "year", sorted by value, in descending order, and then click the Add Condition button. Similar to the primary keyword, set to Month, numeric, ascending, and click Add condition to set to day, value, ascending, and then click OK when you have finished the above settings. After getting the sort sequence you need, you can hide or delete the three columns of data that we added in order to sort.
