# Apt-get Install Lsof

Download Alsa-base.deb installed separately. Use Apt-get to install two additional packages: APMD, Alsa-oss.

# Apt-get Install Alsa-utils

# Apt-get Install Gnome-alsamixer

The alsaconf was canceled in the squeeze. In later versions of Squeeze, alsaconf is no longer included in the Alsa-utils package. So try using "ALSACTL init" To configure your sound card.
