According to foreign media reports, the accounting and technology consulting firm Deloitte recently released its forecast for the 2018 technology industry, covering topics including artificial intelligence (AI), augmented Reality (AR), digital subscriptions and live broadcast and so on.

These forecasts are part of Deloitte's 17th-year "technology, Media and Communications report", some of which are about trends in technology in the 2018, and some about technology trends over the next few years.

Paul Sallomi, vice president of Deloitte, said in his report: "Paul Saromi

"We are now at a critical point where machine learning will accelerate in the corporate marketplace, driving improvements in business operations, enabling companies to make better decisions and providing enhanced or new products and services." ”

The following are Deloitte's 9 forecasts for the 2018 technology market:

1. Deloitte expects that over 1 billion smartphone users will create AR content at least once in 2018, with 300 million users creating an average of AR content per month and 100 million users creating an average of one per week.

2. Advertising interception will be more popular.

Currently, 3/4 of adult users in North America have some form of ad interception, although only 1/10 of users will be able to intercept four or more types of ads.

Compared with adults, the Millennium Generation (18-24 years) of four or more of the probability of advertising interception is 70% higher. Young, educated, well-paid consumers are more likely to intercept more ads.

3. Live broadcast is still king.

Currently, American television viewers watch 1.1 billion-hour live television every day, while live broadcast and events will generate more than $545 billion of direct revenue in 2018, with television advertising and subscriptions about $358 billion.

Streaming live media revenues will reach $7.4 billion in 2018, and China will remain the largest streaming media market, with revenues expected to reach $4.4 billion, up 86% from 2016.

In 4.2018 years, the electronic athletics revenue will surpass 1 billion dollar mark for the first time.

In 2015, the Electricity Competition revenue was 325 million dollars. In 2016, the electric auction was about 6 billion hours long, five times times 2010, but it grew by only 19% in 2015, and only the equivalent of 5.33 days of television viewing in the United States. In the 6 billion-hour video game of 2016, Chinese consumers accounted for 50% of the length of the watch.

5. People will open wallets for digital transactions.

By the end of 2018, 50% of adults in developed countries will have at least two subscriptions online.

By the end of 2020, the figure would have increased to four. In 2020, global digital subscriptions will reach 680 million.

6. The mobile market is saturated, and more than 90% of adults in the country will have mobile phones. 1/5 of North American families will access the Internet entirely via cellular mobile networks.

At the same time, Deloitte expects 45% of the world's adult smartphone users and 65% of the Millennium generation users to worry about using mobile phones too frequently in specific activities and trying to reduce their use in 2018.

7. By 2023, the world will sell 1.85 billion smartphones a year, or 5 million units a day.

This means that if these handsets are connected to each other, their total length will be half the distance from the Earth to the moon. In 2023, smartphone users will interact with smartphones on an average of 65 times a day, an increase of 20% from 2018.

8. The time of the millennial generation to watch television will fall further.

In the 2018 and 2019, the duration of the United States, Canada and Britain's Millennium watch TV will slide 4% to 11% a year. The rate of decline has now stabilized for seven years. The factors that keep young people away from traditional television, such as smartphones, social media and video, are becoming saturated.

9. With the benefit of new chips and better software tools, enterprises will be able to test and deploy the machine learning technology project by one-fold increase in 2018.
