Recently the unit has made several new servers.
With a Windows2008 R2 64-bit.
(previously played 08 on the virtual machine, but found that the real and virtual machines are still very different)
My brother is responsible for migrating the original site from 03 to 08 on the system.
So I'm going to write a series of logs. Keep a record of this modest project.
The organization site is. NET and ASP, and the database is roughly divided into SQL and access
Because SQL is on a stand-alone server. So there's not much.
Below, write down the problems encountered in migrating the Access database's Web site:
1: "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0" provider is not registered on the local computer
Workaround:
Set the application pool default properties/General/enable 32-bit application to true in the corresponding IIS application pool.
It is estimated that the microsoft.jet.oledb.4.0,32 bit is already in Windows, but the application pool does not have a 32-bit program enabled by default, so the display does not have "microsoft.jet.oledb.4.0" installed.
As Windows 2008 ran on the IIS7 and 6 there was a big difference, so I was convenient for everyone to find
Select the appropriate application compatible with 32-bit (especially note that some editors have Access database, if you do not choose this, then the editor is a vast expanse of white and will not error!!!) )
