Deployment and introduction of testlink

Testlink is an open-source test management tool used to manage test cases, from test requirements, test plans, test case management and case execution to final result analysis, A complete set of test process control helps testers effectively control the test process.

This is the original intention of most open-source tools, this is the main reason for its poor UI.

Next, we will briefly introduce how to build the testlink runtime environment under Ubuntu:

Download and install the SDK as needed:
Sudo apt-Get install apache2 PhP5 mysql-server libapache2-mod-php5 php5-mysql php5-gd

Note: Make sure that your Ubuntu server can connect to the Internet, because the apt-Get method is installed online. However, the above method is more convenient than installing in windows.

Configure apache2
Sudo VI/etc/apache2/httpd. conf

Add the following content:
Addtype application/X-httpd-PHP. php. htm. html
Adddefacharcharset UTF-8
Servername 127.0.0.1

Start apache2
Sudo/etc/init. d/apache2 restart

Start MySQL Server
Sudo/etc/init. d/MySQL restart

Install testlink
Tar zxvf testlink-1.9.3.tar.gz
Sudo MV testlink/var/www/
CD/var/www/

Run the testlink Installation Wizard.
Http: // localhost/testlink/install/

Modify configuration file
Sudo VI config. Inc. php
Set "user_self_signup" to "false"
Change the value of "config_check_warning_mode" to "silent"

Access testlink

Http: // localhost/testlink

Use the Default Account "admin" to log on. The password is "admin". After logon, change the password.

The Chinese version of the Chinese version is changed as follows:
Changed to tlcfg-> default_language = 'zh _ cn ';
