Arial/tahoma/verdana

And Verdana also has a problem is the word is relatively wide, use the sidebar title when it will appear very full.

In my personal website design I have been avoiding the use of the text, only in the article body subtitle and other places used to decorate. Because I think the overall style design is a soft, exquisite, if the lining of the word processing is not good will look a little out of place.

Segoe Ui/calibri/corbel

To be honest, I like these vista fonts, the Segoe UI is very readable and modern; Calibri is a little bit smaller than the same font size, it's exquisite; Corbel letters are very plump and rounded, and they look very special. But these fonts are only available under Vista and installed Office (except that the Segoe UI is preloaded in leopard). And Corbel has a very strange problem, when I try to use Corbel in the title, and there are some Chinese in the title, WebKit Kernel browser will not render Chinese and directly display white space.

Trebuchet MS

have been very fond of a screen font, some corner and detail parts are very unique. Especially its beautiful coarse italic, let me unconsciously in the previous version of the site design too much application of italic. But Trebuchet MS's exquisite look a little too long, slightly more "feminine" point, and not open clear type Windows system under the effect is not ideal.

Myriad Pro

In the case of large font myriad Pro performance is excellent, it is no wonder that the Mac's official website ads used this set of fonts, very atmospheric is also very exquisite, and myriad pro several different font types give people the feeling difference is relatively large, such as condensed, although the same myriad Pro has a very different style. But when I applied the myriad Pro font in the title, I encountered a rendering problem with the same WebKit core browser as Corbel.

Lucida Grande

Lucida Grande is a standard for web fonts on a Mac platform, but I've always felt that Lucida's font spacing is not very balanced, and long paragraphs look a bit jagged. And the size of the Lucida Grande is even more difficult to see. And the fact that these two fonts are only preloaded in the Mac is why I'm not using them.

Microsoft Sans Serif

Microsoft Sans serif is the body font that I use now, also calculate compare engaging, cross platform pre-installed also OK, but in the system but have no corresponding bold font, so on the web bold text is the system generated "pseudo bold", relatively ugly.

Franklin Gothic Medium
