Set up your mail account first: After you open Outlook Express, click Tools in the menu bar, and then select account number.

Mail receiving server you can choose POP3 or IMAP server;

If you choose POP3 Server: Please enter your mailbox's POP3 and SMTP server address, then click "Next";

POP3 server: pop.163.com SMTP server: smtp.163.com (port number uses default value)

If you choose Impa Server: Please enter your mailbox's IMAP and SMTP server address, then click "Next";

IMAP server: imap.163.com SMTP server: smtp.163.com (the port number uses default values)

Enter your email account name and password (account only to enter the previous part of the @), then click "Next";

Click the Finish button to save your settings;

Don't forget to set SMTP Server authentication: In the "Mail" tab, double-click the account you just added, and eject the account's property box;

Please click on the "Server" tab, and then at the lower "send mail Server", select the "My server requires authentication" option, and click on the right "Settings" tab, select "Use and receive mail server the same settings";

If you want to keep the mail backup in your mailbox, click on "Advanced" and check "keep a copy of the message on the server" (the role of this check is: The message received on the client will be backed up in the mailbox at the same time.) )

Click OK, and then the "Close" account box, now set to success! Click on the "Send Receive" button in the main window to send and receive mail.
