Currently, I support MPL. For more information about MPL, see here (in English). At present, we have organized human resources for Chinese-based work. Do not worry if you are not very familiar with English, we will try our best to develop Chinese resources. Of course, at present, it is only half done, and it is certain that this version is incorrect. This is an extra burden for everyone, because everyone is a member of the interest group and has their own jobs instead of eating here. What can be posted here is a kind of selfless dedication. Can you never condemn the selfless dedication?
Since MPL is not yet finished in Chinese, let me talk about it a little bit: MPL is open-source, and anyone can modify it for free. Regarding the publishing right, at present, I have not studied it clearly. If you have any ideas, you can share your comments in the translation post. However, unlike GPL, MPL has "owners", that is, rights are ultimately determined by "owners", rather than all participants. (Should this be true ?) That is to say, if the form of permission changes, it can be changed as long as all "owners" agree, rather than all participants. Or, MPL does not give up copyright.
Currently, you agree to the following MPL License Agreement:
Sumtec, hbifts, steeven, Dudu
The use of MPL has my reasons. You can view my post and the conversations between sumtec and hbifts posted by hbifts. For more comments from others, you can refer to hbifts resending materials (the original article is here ). If you use the MPL protocol, you need to have the "owner" role, which I intend to do:
Generate a coreteam in ourgame, and coreteam owns this MPL. This coreteam is an empty shell, because there is no code yet. How does coreteam contribute a lot to this plan? I have not considered it clearly yet, but it is certain that it is not very strict, but relatively loose. In addition, coreteam is not allowed to seek personal gain. All coreteam gains must be from the ourgame Organization (although loose) and the ourgame program service. Therefore, Please devote more to ourgame. The more you contribute, the better, and the more likely you are to enter coreteam. Rest assured that coreteam has no quota limit, at least for the time being. In addition, modification and publishing are allowed and encouraged in private, as long as they are non-commercial and still comply with MPL; or if you are dedicated, donate the copyright to coreteam.
Do other people agree? Please give your comments here. If there is no major problem, it is likely that MPL will be used eventually.
For better and faster work, I will apply for a project on sf.net as soon as possible and set the license agreement as MPL. At present, there is no code, so it can be changed without any legal issues. That is to say, I am not making my own claim for MPL, but to make this project expand as soon as possible, I have to select the most likely one. If anything is wrong, please point it out.
Finally, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the people who have supported this service. In particular, Dudu, who cares about the Protocol form, and hbifts, who are looking for materials for selfless dedication, are the unsung shrimps involved in translation. Of course, hbifts is also involved in translation and Dudu is also involved in other things, which will not be listed here. I would like to thank you for your sacrifice! Dudu gave up the idea of GPL, which is a big sacrifice. If necessary, I will give up my thoughts. (In fact, after I convinced hbifts and steeven, I almost had to give up MPL and use Dudu's GPL .)
I hope I can brainstorm, so everyone is eager to speak.
