The Word text box has only one rectangle and feels more monotonous. Although Word 2003 can't directly insert a nice text box, beautiful text boxes can be DIY. Well, no more, let's do it.
One, special-shaped text box
Select the inserted text box, click draw → Change AutoShape on the Drawing toolbar, and then select the appropriate AutoShape in the category you give. Oh, see? The shape of the text box has changed? In addition, we can also add an AutoShape, then select it, right-click, select the "Add Text" command from the shortcut menu, or change the AutoShape to a text box.
Second, the text box also play background

Select the text box, click the small black triangle on the right side of the Fill Color button on the Drawing toolbar, and select Fill Effects from the pop-up menu to open the Fill Effect dialog box. Click on the "Gradient" tab to set two colors of the gradient, and you can specify the transparency of each color, gradient direction, and so on. Try a few more times, you can make a very beautiful color. In addition, click on a few other tabs, you can easily make beautiful effect. For example, in the "Pictures" tab, we can select a picture on the hard disk to do the background of the text box, right?
Three, add a box to the text box
By default, the border line of the text box is a black solid line. We can change the color of it, or we can simply modify it. When the text box is selected, click the small black triangle on the right side of line color on the Drawing toolbar, and choose a color or "other line Color" command from the pop-up menu to specify the colors that are not in the list. If you click the patterned Lines command, you can open the patterned Lines dialog box. Here you specify the foreground and background color of the pattern, and then select a pattern that, when determined, is no longer a text box for the solid line.
Four, get a 3D text box
Then we can select the text box and click the Shadow Style button on the Drawing toolbar to select one of the pop-up shadow styles.
If you want to customize one, then you can click the pop-up menu "Shadow Settings" command, and then use the Open "Shadow Settings" toolbar, set shadow color, direction, depth, and so on.
If not, you can click on the "three-dimensional effect style" in the Drawing toolbar to specify a three-dimensional effect for the text box in the pop-up list. We can also select the "three-dimensional settings" command in the pop-up list, and then use the corresponding buttons in the three-dimensional Settings toolbar to set three-dimensional color, lighting angle, direction and other related content.
Note that not every AutoShape can have three-dimensional effects, so if the three-dimensional setting is not available, you might want to try an AutoShape another way.
OK, after our setup, the text box is not so monotonous? If your arty is rich, maybe you can get an extremely beautiful text box out.
