Do you really understand the value of the user experience?

If you are engaged in online mall related business, some UX design terminology should be already in mind. Everyone wants to explain it with their own understanding, and some of the explanations are interesting, but no one seems to be able to really explain it.

In the course of the work, any designer does not want to provide the value of their services because the customer is not understood and underestimated. In my opinion, in the process of marketing their products, it is important to find a way to make it clear how to design UX so that the enterprise and the user can win.

In this, I set myself a goal: to express UX design terminology in the simplest and most straightforward way.

Later on, I found it more difficult to explain the user experience to a designer than to interpret a real user. It may be that the user is the primary consideration when designing a product.

 Understand value

The so-called existence is reasonable (Hegel's famous sayings), each relationship has its value. What do you bring in this relationship? What do you expect in return? Although each level of relationship is different, but they are complementary. For example:

My pet dog, it accompany me to exercise every day, bring me happiness, let me understand responsibility and love. At the same time, she also gets exercise, food, shelter, and most importantly, a return on love.

My clients, they pay attention to quality, not daguanqiang. It is also punctual and does not constantly modify the demand. Therefore, we have reached a long-term cooperative relationship. I don't have to look for new customers anywhere!

Facebook has had a huge impact on my circle of friends. Although there are some places to improve the space, but the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, it brings the value, in my daily life to verify that it is worthwhile, it is really a great experience. So, I like to use Facebook to enrich Facebook's content. This may seem trivial, but not for Facebook itself.

Why do I have to do UX design?

When asked what UX designers do? My answer is: Help the enterprise to adjust the product value and the user's expectation. Let the user finally disappointed, is every enterprise does not want to see. It can even be said that if the user expectations exceed the enterprise can give, this will make the enterprise feel overwhelmed. That's why it's so important to adjust the value of user expectations, which is the first step in building long-term relationships with customers.

A stable relationship requires a balance of values. Each of these examples is different, but without a balance, the other side will be affected accordingly.

Time and energy: Every day's experience is a cost.

Like most people, there are a lot of meetings every year. As a matter of fact, the meeting in Malmö is one I like better. But this year I decided not to go. This has nothing to do with the conference speaker, the subject of the meeting, and my schedule. Just because of what I've learned recently: I can't concentrate all day, I bet you can't.

If I'm too busy to take the time to do something, I can't say "I don't have time". In fact, time is there, just to see if you want to squeeze out. Whether I have no time, or that I can not squeeze time, it is worth our thinking. Attention is a resource that is more limited than time. --Jeson Fored

I may have time to contact more items, meetings and other temporary random things, but I didn't notice. If I go to more and more things, my existing things and even my daily life will be affected by them. I am increasingly unwilling to make such sacrifices, all kinds of discussions, parties, or use of an app all require energy. Of course, I can also attend 7 meetings a day, but my real concern may also be 3 or 4 meetings.

Why do I have to do UX design?

If you accept what you want to do, you will experience the whole process-meeting discussions, various applications, or a variety of stores to look for-and be able to understand what it needs to focus on. I can focus on a meeting for about 4 hours, but I can't keep browsing for one hours on Facebook.

It is also important to adjust the values of your users to attract their attention. Many product owners take "online browsing time" as a measure, but is this really a good indicator? is the longer browsing time better? Does this really mean that they like to browse your site? or just because it's hard for them to find what they need?

Learn to create a valuable user experience

The design of user experience is embodied in many places, it is not only the experience of a button position, but the presentation of a value to the user. Let users have a feeling of being respected, rather than being forced to pay attention to them or simply being overlooked, so that they are just right to retain the user.
