Hans Christian Andersen (April 2-18, 1805-August 4) Danish writer and poet, world famous for his fairy tale. His most famous fairy tales include "Xi Bing", "Snow Queen", "Finger girl", "little girl who sells matches", "Ugly Duckling", and "Red Shoes. Andersen received a royal tribute before his lifetime and was highly praised for bringing joy to the generation of children throughout Europe. His work has been translated into more than 150 languages, and thousands of fairy tale books have been published globally. His fairy tale inspired the creation of many movies, stages, ballet, and animated films.
