A few days ago, when I downloaded a software package, I found that I could only download it with IE when I clicked the link. However, when I used FlashGet, I found that "no package contains a valid URL", which is really depressing. However, I found a trick and finally successfully downloaded it with FlashGet.
I. You are holding your face
I have a lot of multimedia files for the CSF. I need a software called ScenicPlayer to open them. Find the latest player version on the homepage for download. Click the download link to bring up the "File Download" Confirmation window for IE, instead of calling the "Add new download task" window for FlashGet as usual. As mentioned above, I do not like to use IE for download. Click the "cancel" button, right-click the download link, and select "download via Internet Express" in the pop-up menu. I thought it was finished. But what else did I know about FlashGet? An error Prompt window was displayed, the system prompts "the package does not contain a valid URL" and cannot be downloaded.
Why? Let's see what its address is. Right-click the link property and choose javascript: download (262) on the "properties" page. The original link address is hidden.
In this case, you can only download it using IE. Click the "save" button to start downloading. Who knows, the download speed is very slow, even less than 5 kb per second, more than 6 MB of software, what year and month can be reached, and the patience is slowly waiting, the worst thing is that the connection was broken when it was downloaded to around 10% and then restarted. In less than 50%, the connection was interrupted twice. I am an acute person. If this is not the case, I still need to use FlashGet to download it, which saves a lot of trouble.
2. Set off your headers
To download the software with FlashGet, find the actual address of the software and enter the complete address in FlashGet. But where is its real address? I think that every time I click the javascript: download (262) Link, a window outline will pop up. After the window is closed automatically, the "File download" Confirmation window for IE will appear, this window is generated by the browser when interpreting the script language. The address of this window is displayed in the title bar. This should be the actual address I am looking. However, the appearance of the explanation window is very short, and it is too late to see the above address and close it. What should I do? Don't worry, I have a solution.
1. Use the screenshot capture software
Open HyperSnap-DX 5 and click the software link. When an explanation window appears, press the "Print Screen" or "Alt + Print Screen" key quickly, capture the entire screen or the current active window, And HyperSnap-DX 5 will immediately open the image content in the clipboard. No. In HyperSnap-DX 5, is the title bar of the window clearly displayed. You can enter the address in the URL bar of the new download task window in FlashGet. Click "OK" and the download will start immediately. In this case, I don't have to keep an eye on it for fear of a sudden disconnection. (Click here to download HyperSnap-DX 5)
2. Use Firewall
If the above method is too troublesome, I will introduce a simple method to you. If a firewall is installed on a computer, the firewall software usually has a "Connect/disconnect network" button to quickly disconnect and connect to the network. First disconnect the network connection on the firewall, and then click the software download link. What should I do? The explanation window stops there because after the network connection is disconnected, the browser keeps searching for the target location of the software. In this way, we can enter the address in FlashGet without a delay, connect the network to the firewall, and download it slowly. Of course, unplugging the network cable on the computer can achieve the same effect, but that is too inconvenient.
