After the template is created, to create an editable region in the template, only in the editable region can we edit the content of the Web page. You can set any selected area on a Web page as an editable region, but preferably based on HTML code, which makes it clearer when you make it.
In the document window, select the section you want to set as an editable region, click the Templates button in the common Shortcut Bar, and select the editable region item in the pop-up menu.
In the new Editable Region dialog box that pops up, name the area, and then click OK. The newly added editable region has a blue label, which is the name of the editable region.
If you want to delete an editable region, place the cursor within the editable region that you want to delete, and select the Modify/template/Remove template tag command, and the editable region of the cursor's area is deleted.
So the template file is created.
Third, other template areas
In addition to being able to insert the most commonly used editable regions, you can insert some other types of regions, such as optional region, repeat region, editable optional region, and repeating table.
1. Optional area
An optional region is an area in a template that users can set to show or hide in a template-based file. You can use an optional region when you want to set a condition for what is displayed in a file.
2. Repeat region
Repeat regions can be part of a template that is negative for any number of times on a page based on the template as needed. Repeating regions are often used for tables, or you can define repeating regions for other page elements.
3, editable optional area
is one of the optional regions that you can set to show or hide the selected area, and you can edit the contents of the range.
