D9 is a single-sided dual-disc, that is, to fold the two D5 faces and then weld them together. Of course, the process is not that simple. Therefore, the capacity is twice that of D5. Why isn't it D10? haha, D10 is a dual-sided dual-disc, which is to fold D5 back to back. When you watch a D10 film, you have to take out the dishes. In turn, you can only watch the second one. It is a little troublesome. Unlike D9, the DVD drive can automatically change the layers, after the first step, I changed my head and focused on reading the second layer. Therefore, D10 is rarely seen now.

Because of the large capacity, D9 can put a lot of content, such as DTS audio tracks, comment audio tracks, and film highlights. According to the compression standard of the DVD, the D5 capacity can only accommodate a 90-minute movie and a dd5.1, a dual-channel audio track and two or three subtitles. If the film is longer, you may have to sacrifice one audio track or some subtitles. Therefore, D5 can only be placed in the content of the main film, and other related content can only be squashed. We watched a lot of films, and some menu items didn't go into anything, because the capacity relationship was removed.

Here we will talk about the dd5.1 and DTS audio tracks, dd5.1 and DTs are both 5.1 channels, but different compression standards are implemented. DTS's compression ratio is smaller than dd5.1, so the compression loss is relatively small, sound quality is better than dd5.1, but this is not absolute. I have met a film with better performance than DTs in the dd5.1 audio track. DTS audio tracks are removed from D5 films due to their large capacity.

D5 because the price is relatively low, 5, 6 yuan a piece, so the vast majority of people buy D5, street stores are generally only sell D5, only some of the more professional shops, the boss is more knowledgeable and can only sell D9. D9 is also divided into simple D9 and refined D9, simple D9 packaging is the same as D5, the price is generally two times of D5, refined D9 packaging is more exquisite, many will have a special flash disk, there are also statues, posters, and other movie-related souvenirs, which are expensive. D5 movies are relatively new and fast. Generally, a DVD is released shortly after a movie is released, but it is basically a gun version. There is a pattern in the DVD. Generally, three months after the movie is released, there will be a version of the DVD. At this time, the basic version will not have a gun. Of course, this pattern is not applicable to the primary film, movies and DVDs are listed in sync. Therefore, the collection of DVDs is also a painful waiting process. It may take more than three months to wait for a good version, just like the magic ring Luxury Collection edition, which was released several years after its first release. D9 has almost no need to worry about buying a gun version. Because the pirated versions are credibility-oriented, a gun version means hitting your own brand. Therefore, you must also see the pirated versions when buying D9. If you cannot see the brand of the pirated versions on the packaging, no other versions of this film have been released. We recommend that you do not buy it.
