DVRF: Router vulnerability practice target drone Damn vulnerable Router Firmware

0x01 Overview

The goal of this project is to help people learn about other architectural environments outside of x86_64, while also helping people explore the mysteries of router firmware.

So far, the project is based on the installation of Linksys E1550.

0x02 Installation

Friendly tips, please back up the router firmware before installation, in case of a rainy future.

1 , log in with the Administrator account password E1550 2. Access Firmware Update page, http:///192.168.1.1/upgrade.asp3, upload damn vulnerable Router Firmware (DVRF) v0. 1 firmware Dvrf_v01.bin 4, click Update Firmware, and then wait to restart the router, after the restart is complete, the installation is complete.

0x03 removal or reset

Sometimes due to DVRF firmware bugs, you need to remove the installed DVRF firmware or reset the firmware.

To remove:

1. Go to DVRF's homepage http://192.168.1.1/index.asp2, click the Browse button to import the backup router firmware, Restart the router when you are finished.

Reset:

1, enter DVRF's homepage http://192.168.1.1/index.asp2, click the Browse button, the new version of the DVRF firmware upload after the update restart.
