Web project with Tomcat published in Eclipse, changing its deployment path
My eclipse's working directory is d:/workspace
Configure Tomcat First
Select your Tomcat version
Click Next
Let's not add the item in here.
Let's start with a change to the Tomcat deployment path, and Eclipse's default deployment path is
D:\workspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.wst.server.core\tmp1\wtpwebapps (according to own workspace decision)
If you add an item to Tomcat, then follow these steps to configure it
1, find the server panel, right click on the current Tomcat, remove all of the works.
2, and then right click on the tomcat, choose Clean, empty.
3. Double-clicking that Tomcat will open the Properties panel and locate the second server locations on the left.
Select the second one will create a Web project named Wtpwebapps folder under the Tomcat path that hosts Tomcat publishing;
Select the third one, and you can enter the path you want in server path and save it.
Normally, we'll put the deployment path in the directory of Tomcat's WebApp.
