When you first start Eclipse, the Set workspace path pops up. After you set the path, if you check the default workspace, you will not be prompted to enter the default workspace.
There are 3 methods in which you can change the path settings for workspace.
1. Modify Preference Settings
After you start Eclipse, open the window-> Preferences-> general-> Startup and Shutdown, click Workspaces, and then tick the Prompt for workspace On startup, apply.
2. Modify the configuration file
Open the Configuration/.settings/org.eclipse.ui.ide.prefs file under the Eclipse installation directory and change the value of "Show_workspace_selection_dialog" to "true" ;
Note: The value of "Recent_workspaces" indicates the workspace absolute path that has been set. The first path is the currently set path, followed by the one previously set. The paths are delimited by "n".
3. Delete configuration file
Remove the Configuration/.settings/org.eclipse.ui.ide.prefs file from the Eclipse installation directory.
After you do this, start again, and the Workspace Launcher dialog box pops up and can be reset.
